At a time when we were most vulnerable and isolated, I asked many of my closest friends if I could do portraits of them. I used both eastern and western philosophy to study their birthsigns and incorporated the colors, elements, and materials associated with them to create these portraits.
I kept the physical appearance of each person as ambiguious as possible because I wanted the focus to be on the colors and object that surrounded them.
